2022 Scholarship Application Deadline is August 7!

The Donna K Easley Animal Rescue Scholarship was created to honor our dear friend and hero Donna Easley - "Aunt Donna" to us. Aunt Donna has rescued hundreds upon hundreds of dogs and coordinated transports all over the country (and beyond) and into forever homes. The one thing she cares about as much as saving dogs is investing in education, and we believe that people in any course of study or who hold any type of degree can use their knowledge and skills to help make Arkansas a better place for our state's animals. Whether it's a finance major helping a rescue organization with its accounting all the way to an animal science major helping teach basic wound care, everyone can help save dogs in different ways. The scholarship awards $1000 per semester to a student enrolled in an Arkansas college who demonstrates a desire to use his or her eventual degree in ways that further animal rescue efforts.

Scholarship Requirements

Applications will be taken until AUGUST 7, 2023 for the 2023-24 school year, and will be reviewed by a committee of animal rescue volunteers in Arkansas and Colorado, from our sister organization Colorado Beagle Rescue. Recipient will be notified in mid August
